Surrendering A Pet

Surrendering a pet to Familiar Hearts Animal Society is a significant decision. There are many ways to come to this crossroads, and it's important to ensure that it's the right decision for the animal. We encourage you to explore all possible avenues before submitting a Surrender Form, as you will no longer have legal guardianship of the animal once it is submitted. Once we take ownership of the animal, we dedicate all our resources to finding their next family. As a small foster-based organization, it's important for us to allocate our limited resources effectively. If you are considering surrendering a pet to Familiar Hearts Animal Society, please contact us to determine if it's the best course of action for all involved.
